From the minute we walked through the door, we had the warmest welcome. Honestly one of the best guesthouses we have ever stayed in. If you are looking for a place in Newquay, look no further this place is amazing along with the owners and the Staff. Every single member was so friendly and would go out of their way to help you. Thank you all so much for an amazing stay. We will be back.

What can we say! We have had the most amazing 9 nights here at Minerva! Margaret, Owen and Natalia went above and beyond to make us feel not only welcome, but at home! Lots of laughs with them along the way and even a complimentary bottle of Prosecco to celebrate our engagement, I was even sung to at breakfast on my birthday! The hotel has everything you need, spotlessly clean, amazing location, gorgeous tasty breakfast, And the comfiest bed I’ve slept in on holiday! We’re so sad to leave but we will definitely be back soon! Thankyou again 🤗

The staff especially Owen, were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to ensure a comfortable experience giving advice on where to go for a drink or to eat. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. The shower facilities were excellent, offering great water pressure and temperature control. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and I appreciated the spacious room, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend

Margaret, Owen and Nathalia were very welcoming and accommodating. The room we stayed in was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. We had a bottle of prosecco waiting for us with two glasses which was a nice little touch. Nathalia was really helpful and lovely. Breakfast was great, a variety of cereals and fruit etc and a menu with typical english breakfasts, eggs, etc but really tasty! Amazing view of the beach right on your doorstep and the high street right at the top of the road.

Room was great - deluxe triple room. Nice shower and plenty of room Breakfast brilliant with plenty of choice and a fabulous coffee machine, plenty of normal toasters so you didnt have to wait! Natalia especially was kind, funny and attentive, she went out of her way to help Excellent location - 5minute walk to the sea in front and a 30second walk to the main shopping street.

The service, location and facilities all exceeded our expectations. Little touches like the mini-fridge were a real bonus and the spectacular views to Jago's Island and beyond an absolute delight! The attentiveness to our needs at breakfast time was just as memorable as the choice and quality of food available. The guest house is so well situated, with the Blue Reef Aquarium a stone's throw away, and the Lighthouse Cinema a short walk past a wide range of shops where you can find everything you need. All in all, this is an excellent choice for a fulfilling Newquay experience!!

Exceptional clean rooms and toilet. Looks like we are the first occupants for the newly renovated room!!! Breakfast was also pretty good.

Warm, welcoming staff. Natalia at breakfast is a credit to the b & b such a great host. Spotlessly clean which is the most important thing to us -house keeping does a great job. Perfect location in the centre of Newquay overlooking the sea. We felt we paid a good price for a week’s holiday and the room was good value.

After an awful start to our holiday (we booked through air b&b and were partially refunded after staying one night in a “cottage” (shed in someone’s garden) in Falmouth). We booked this hotel short notice and didn’t expect much from it as we just wanted a decent hotel , close to the beach. The staff and the hotel exceeded our expectations , staff were very helpful at carrying luggage up to our room, allowed early check in, fresh breakfast cooked each morning and the location was amazing. We had a sea view room and it made our holiday that extra bit special. Margaret and her family/staff made us feel very welcome and we will be retuning in the future and recommending to our friends and family.
